Mayor Joe Ganim and Christine Bartlett-Josie, campaign manager for his primary opponent John Gomes, took the stand Tuesday before Superior Court Judge William Clark who will decide if Ganim’s 251 vote win stands or needs another try. See video of testimony above.
The trial will resume Thursday.
Gomes Attorney Bill Bloss announced he’s close to completing his case to overturn the primary. That could happen Thursday or Friday. Then defense lawyers will weigh in. How long that lasts could be a few days or a week.
Either way, the general election for mayor will take place Nov. 7.

What are the odds of the defense calling Gomes to ask questions about procedures, relationships, identification, and the 2019 election cycle? 🤣
