Not ideal weather on Sunday, but the annual Columbus Day Parade led by Anthony Paoletto this year prevailed before the heavier rains showed up.
Nice to see two-time mayoral candidate and ex State House member Chris Caruso, the Council of Italian American Societies president, back in action at the parade, riding in a golf cart.
The Big Wave has powered through an extended ailment the past year after missing the 2024 annual festivities.
