Trump’s Sneakers Wearing Out, No Shine

You cannot shine a sneaker, a traditional one at least, the surface inflexible to glow.

Donald Trump is a sneaker, the laces now dangling on a DC utility wire, heaved by a country-wide heated electorate marking a spot closely aligned with a super-charged transformer ready to blow, be it a nibble from a squirrel or lightning strike.

His impudence to people in pain, especially those he punished after they returned him to office – veterans, farmers, rural Whites, wallet-hurting Black and Brown electors – waxed his tariffs, war in Iran, corruption and price gouging, tsunami-ing a gutless Congress that refused to provide a check on the crown.

And already, even this lame duck Republican Congress, with the just eight weeks remaining until a new crew of Democratic dominance takes over, is poised to join Democrats to impale Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on impeachment charges.

Trump will still try to be Trump, but after this shellacking the chess pieces have changed that will trump his moves. Congress enjoys the power of the pen to decide what gets funded. They won’t fund his stuff, be it the war or ICE, at the very least placing major funding limits.

Trump’s veto power? If he vetoes legislation that Americans think will lower costs, how’s that gonna play? It also places more pressure on congressional Republicans who’ll want to survive in two years.

The Senate confirms his appointments. They will be blocked.

Democrats will have immense investigatory subpoena power to peel away layers upon layers of venality. Look for many Trump appointees to run for the tall grass as investigations heat up. It’s gonna be messy and not in the Trump-style chaos of his addiction.

Meanwhile, the 2028 presidential race is already underway with dozens of Democrats poised to run. As for the Republicans, JD Vance inherits Trump’s baggage so Tuesday’s vote clears the decks for other Republicans to jump in.

This will be a weary two years for Trump.

That’s the thing about a sneaker, you can’t shine it and they always wear out.

  1. Speedy, leave John the Spiritual red boots out of this. 🙂

That being said, you have to come to the conclusion that this ” blue wave” is inevitable. As to lennies points, time will tell, Howeve I suspect Pete will be the political fodder for the left to bask in retaking control of Congress, consider the Middle East religious shit show.

Judges will always, and perhaps always, have an understanding for the Puppet masters of American Politics.

Sure, they impeached Trump twice as a distration/fodder to their base, but regardless of the way they like to play their base with political fodder, Trump is not a King. His political “Career” has/is coming to an end live Goerge, Bill, Obama, and Biden.

Have very little doubt this shit show with Trump and the D’s is going to be peaceful for the next year or so. Spending bills, we know how that’s going to go; Trump already made a VETO Red Hat to sport. 🙂

You want to hear something “devilish hands at work, people.

Perhaps some may have somewhat of an understanding. But remember hearing a lot about Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill, to say the least, in this shit show. If it wasn’t for that BBB I would have lost my place and been homeless. Apparently, checking the park sticker is too much of a responsibility to keep you from being homeless.

I shit you not, people. 🙂

  2. Why do I say Devilish hands at work”? I guess that’s the game, particularly how you tend to phrase view it. When you hear it being said, “God is on our/my side” VS are you on God’s side?”

At any rate, you have to ponder the truth that the Devil can’t hide.

What coded side, John the spiritual? 🙂

I mean, come on, people. After all that shit in this shit show, really. 🙂

Sticker vs. homeless. Yeah, it all adds up. Right, CSC judges. JS

  3. Speaking of shoes and “Kings,” it was absurd to program your followers/voting block to such a political rallying cry against an opposition party in a democratic process. What level of a moron is more concerned about his shoes when his “security team” was trying to bring him to safety after they set him up to get his head blown off. JS

We can assume Gabriel’s one of the angels. Perhaps Michial the other.

  4. Nope, according to Google AI. 🙂

The angels on a person’s shoulders in Islam are known as the Kiraman Katibin (the Noble Writers or Honorable Recorders), and some traditions also refer to them by specific names like Raqeeb and Atid.

    • The angel on the right shoulder records good deeds.
    • The angel on the left shoulder records bad deeds or sins.

At the end of the ritual prayer (Salah), Muslims turn their heads to the right and then to the left, saying “Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah” (Peace and mercy of God be upon you) to greet these recording angels and fellow worshippers

Dave, what say you? Angel chicken or Angel fish. 🤣

  5. Nope, apparently they are Kiraman Katibin (the Noble Writers or Honorable Recorders), Raqeeb and Atid.

Shit , they are writers; we know how that works out in the Port. 🙂

Since Islam and Christianity are based, built on the foundation of Judaism, it is more than fair to say the Jews had a hand in their writings. 🙂

I mean, it doesn’t take a rock scientist or a prophet from God to figure out that they have evil deeds in their writing and are heavy-handed on the female species. Specifically, Islam. Nations that have not come out of that cave mentality. You know who you are, as the world. Clearly, you use God as a means to oppress women in your nation. JS

  6. Joel when worn by the respective owners Trump’s red sneakers and Jelly Donut’s red rubber boots have one thing in common. They are both FULL Of SHIT!
Maybe Jelly Donut can provide that information in his next casual civics conversation.

    1. JM or RT,
Happy to have a conversation with you. Saturday November 14, 2026 at URSA, 9AM.
Joe, why are the red boots remembered. They are symbols of what the average citizen did not understand about Bridgeport as a financial actor. One boot named OB represented the operating budget of the City, and the other boot, named BS stood for the balance sheet where assets and liabilities are recorded at current values. Is that important to the citizens in a community when at least one owner spoke words of outrage to the CC about asset valuation of condos and coops.
The subject may be difficult and appear dirty, but research by each citizen/taxpayer can be performed when you know how. Ask your City Council rep for instruction on City finances. Get them to attend a Casual Civics Conversation in your district….very soon in all ten districts….and look for their response. Time will tell.

  7. John the spiritual? To you, Red boots, regardless of how messy it is in terms of political party identity and who’s president, be it a D or R, or who’s in control of the House or Senate. We’ve been operating on a credit card. Is that fair to say?

The D’s and R’s can say what they want about Trump’s BBB spending. If we really have a true sense of it. Consider (I believe) the Feds spend 180 on both SNAP and HUD. Yet it operation on a total is 7 ½ trillion. In which 2 trillion needed to be borrowed.

The R’s have been operating on the largest Credit Card spending in recent years, and Biden was not that far behind. But that ugly monstrosity spending bill still had to borrow 2 trillion. So it is more than fair to say what in that 7 ½ trillion is going. Right John?

That being said, it appears we now spend more money on interest than on our national defence and/or on Medicare. Which has physical substance and consequences for families.

We now pay over a trillion dollars in interest. A trillion. So while the D’s tend to champion that fish for the less among us, they, in essence, give the wealthy the pole to catch an annual trillion and counting. Let that sink in.

Not saying the D’s don’t or shouldn’t pursue the social needs. I could start with the 80-hour work requirement and reduce it to 40 hours

    What say you, John M

  8. That being said, considering Lamont’s spending/gardrials, which he had been taking slack from the looney No Kings left, he has been dealing with the financial aspect of the state debt, I believe. Is that fair to say Red boots John. AKA the Spiritual. 🙂

On paper, he’s makes the vialble candidate for the Ds beyond the No Kings looney left noice of governance in the 2028 presidential election. However, he is not much of a political speaker who moves people, rhetorically speaking even with fiscal record. To be fair, in today’s American politics, particularly the D’s, it’s all about racism, Trumpism, and No King nonsense. But you have to say this country can keep on borrow 2 trillion annually.

While Trump/Rs talked a good game but fraud, waste, and abuse they borrow two trillion annually.

Based on the spending and needs, you would have to think a D’s president with control of the other branches would levy taxes on the super-rich/wealthy to pay off the debt/themselves and apply that money, not paying on interest, to fund more domestic isuess with substance.

Utill then you hope to think practical wise spending and operation bills will come out of the Ds control and on Trump desk. TWT

AS of right now we pay over a trillion annually in interest with no real tangible benefit.Jsut money given to the rich Per se. Imagine if, that trillion-dollar given to the rich annually was used on, housing development, and/or infrastructure think with substance more then given to the rich.

Military and health care has to be transform, that for sure. I would think. While I don’t see Trump and this congress to get medicare insurance plan for all. Partical movement towards it is not out of reach

    https://www.facebook.com/reel/1758251519633290

You have to admit these are Interesting times. Consider how this religion’s shit show in the Middle East wraps up and how energy and if AI spark a revolution like the internet did under Bill Clinton.

I mean, Trump did his thing: In his first term he went Nero on the domestic side, particularly in policing with BLM, and in his second term on the foreign side he set the Middle East on fire.

I guess we’ll have to see, where the D’s take it. If you see more of Trump impeachment shit, that’s just all of the same smokescreen to do nothing, and you know the D’s are hindering real substance for the people/families of America. Particularly in universal health care, debt-prioritized spending, debt reduction, and foreign aid spending

Now the agenda is in the D’s hands; do we hear impeachment like they did the last time? You know the D/party are not serious about what they say they stand for.

My guess is they will perhaps put up more spending bills with the continuing borrowing and Trump impeachment to feed their misguided base, but could be off TWT

But at some point you have to think there is going to be a time to get a handle on the borrowing and interest payments

Lamont, that’s all you need to reduce the trillion-plus in annual interest money spent without any real substance for the family.

That being said, I wait for my one-dollar fundraisers.

PS John the Spiritual, keep up the faith; #CCC Time will tell. 🙂

  9. My bad

But you have to say this country cannot keep borrowing 2 trillion annually. indefinitely.

That being said, the shit show in the Middle East has to be completed, and domestic spending and policy need to be focused on.

They, the D’s, can start with that Student loan; they seem to be part of their political identity. Trump will sign it he doesn’t give a shit about the R’s political identity. Like, is frist term, going Nero on domestic policing in America and blowing up the Middle East, Europe, and everything in between. He blew up the Republican Party as a parting gift and gave the D’s Student Loan forgiveness. Like and pardon out going presisents do when the leave office. 🤣

Shit, Trump will give you universal health care if you put it on his desk; I mean, the Donald is all about making this country great. Universal health care needs to get done if America is going to be Great. JS 🙂

  10. I guess we’ll have to see how this all plays out.

What say you, Rose, D’s, in general? You’re going to put up a universal health insurance plan to Trump’s desk to Trump, I mean the “King” is going to Pelican Bay on the Republican Party? Or are you going to spend the King’s remaining two years blowing smoke up the people’s ass with impeachment bullshit? Inquire minds want to know, and time will tell soon enough. 🙂

    What say you, Keymaster?

I am out of here until the one-dollar fundraiser. Time will tell, John the Spiritual; keep the faith. 🙂
