The Bijou Theatre in association with Eli Newsom presents an evening of songs featuring three of Fairfield County’s most talented singers. Christy McIntosh, Jenifer Menedis and Maggie Pangrazio star in a cabaret as The Belting Beauties, and will belt out popular songs from beloved Broadway musicals and pop artists, such as Adele and Celine Dion.  thebijoutheatre.com/films/belting-beauties/

Christy McIntosh is a professional actress and singer and has appeared Off-Broadway (Evil Dead: The Musical, Elvis and Juliet, The Truth), regionally (Hartford Stage, Denver Center Theatre Company, George St. Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Barrington Stage Company), and on national television (Law & Order: SVU). She is on the Board of Directors of Bridgeport Theatre Company and has directed their productions of Hairspray and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and has produced many of their shows, including RENT and The Music Man. She is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild.

Jenifer Menedis has performed throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. She is a versatile performer who is equally comfortable doing theatre and rocking out in concert. She began her career singing jingles and doing hometown “gigs” in Columbus, OH. From there, she moved to L.A. where she worked at Disneyland and toured with the international company “Imagination Entertainment.” Jenifer also toured with Internationally known ABBA tribute band “Bjorn Again” as Frida for which she received rave reviews wherever they opened. You can check her out in the Clint Eastwood film “Flags of Our Fathers” as the Andrews Sister soloist. Living here in CT, she is recording a solo album and plans to continue her career in New York and on Broadway.

Maggie Pangrazio was most recently seen at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre in the original cast of the new musical SubUrban Decay. Other recent shows include Legally Blonde The Musical, Pinkalicious, and Sleeping Beauty and Her Prince, as well as Bridgeport Theatre Company’s Seussical the Musical, Lend Me a Tenor, and RENT. She holds a BA from American University in Music Theatre and Communications. She’s a certified make-up artist, the contributing editor-in-chief for artistew.com, and dabbles in producing local community theatre. Next up, her directorial debut with BTC’s Dracula, October 26-November 4.

The concert will feature a three-piece band with Dwayne Condon on piano, Gabriel Nappi on drums and Charles Casimiro on bass. The concert is directed by Eli Newsom.
