Testo’s Restaurant, Sausage Company On P&Z Agenda

The city’s Planning & Zoning Commission has busy nights scheduled Monday and Tuesday for public hearings involving a number of development proposals, among them a “Petition of 1775 Madison Investments, LLC & 1849 Madison Investments, LLC – Seeking a change of zone from an R-A to an OR-G zone, and also seeking a special permit and a site plan review to be consistent with the current use of the subject properties.” This is the restaurant owned by Democratic Town Chair Mario Testa. State Rep. Jack Hennessy and others opposed to the zoning change are urging residents to attend the public hearing Tuesday 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 45 Lyon Terrace.

Stamford-based DeYulio Sausage Company is also on the agenda Tuesday night seeking a permit and site plan review for a manufacturing and retail facility. Agenda items for Monday and Tuesday:

      1. Saving it all for yourself, yahooy??? Come down to city hall and make your voice heard. Maybe Mario will feed you some sausage. Was that too risqué for you? Nah, you can handle it, or so I’ve heard! Nothing wrong with sausage as long as you are not kosher. Now I know you aren’t so if your mouth is watering, satisfy it.

  1. There is a new Testo’s Restaurant in Brooklawn on the Fairfield side having a cocktail and grand opening soirée on the same day. I have been asked to go. I think I can fit in a free glass of wine and some pizza before continuing on to this meeting. Very Mata Hari, don’t you think? 😉
