Step Right Up–Daly, Paoletta Book Signing At Barnum Museum

Daly book signing

It was a dizzying five days in December, 1982 after an arsonist torched the Police Activities League’s Christmas Village, the site of a celebration for the city’s impoverished children. The indomitable will of then-Mayor Leonard Paoletta resurrected the village from the ashes in an astonishing restoration mission. The events are now chronicled in a book by Connecticut Post journalist Michael Daly. A book signing for The Miracle of Christmas Village will take place Thursday, Jan. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Barnum Museum. Stop in and see Mike and the mayor. Can’t get there? Order it here.
