Special Probation For Harding Coach

From Dan Tepfer, CT Post:

Harding High School boys’ basketball coach Charles Clemons Jr., accused of leaving his 4-year-old son home alone, was granted special probation following a hearing this morning.

Superior Court Judge Robin Pavia granted Clemons accelerated rehabilitation after a number of supporters spoke on Clemons behalf and he tearfully apologized for his actions.

Under accelerated rehabilitation Clemons did not plead guilty to the felony charge against him–risk of injury to a minor–but was ordered to serve two years’ probation. If he commits no other crime during that time the charge against him is dismissed.
