Bridgeport Public Schools applauds the Bridgeport legislative delegation for securing $25 million in additional funding to support our students, schools, and families.
This includes a $15 million increase in Education Cost Sharing and $10 million in municipal aid at an important time for our district.
Interim Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery shared his appreciation for the delegation’s continued advocacy and commitment to Bridgeport.
As we continue working to close our budget gap, this support helps move us in the right direction. We remain focused on our students and on making thoughtful decisions alongside our partners.
