  1. Well I guess officer edwards may have a slight problem. Hate to point out the obvious but what was she doing there? Who did her background check? Was she a Bridgeport resident? I’ll bet that she was! Why would I say that ??????
Just pointing out what may be the obvious!!
    Cheers!!!!

  2. Oh Rich, give it a break. This wasn’t an after hour club, instead it was a venue that was rented to have a party. You need to take 6 months to mind your business and 6 months to stay out of Bridgeport’s business and that will take you well into to next year.

    1. You must have been there! “Obviously” it was reported as an illegal after hours club located in a basement. Now Don, you can go back and finish your little knotty head nip of Seagrams.
      Cheers!!!!

    2. If it was a private party, then the police would have a list of the name of all those in attendance provided to them. Had the party been held across the street (Danny Pizzaro’s property) the outcry would have been deafening.

  3. Wrong, again, Don! It was an illegal, speak-easy, after-hours club… I’m just confirming that for you, and BPD, and the downtown “neighborhood,” as the first installment toward fulfilling your previous, inane demand. (No. Kaitlyn was not doing undercover work for BPD at the “party.”)…

    1. There you go Jeff! Don says it was a fundraising event for “Temple of the way.” There’s a hole on the wall on 681 E. Main Street by the same name. Jeff check to see if this Temple is registered with the State as a non-profit. They must be actively registered in order to legally hold fundraisers. I hope they have insurance to cover a potential lawsuit. Get back to us after your search with Consumer Protection, Jeff.

  4. No Jeff, you’re as wrong as when you thought you could win the mayoral election! It was a party and Sunday’s function was billed as an “after party” organized with the help of a local restaurant to raise funds for Temple of the Way. How can one person be so wrong, so often about so many things? What you don’t know about what’s going on in Bridgeport is astonishing yet you still run your pie hole with all the ferocity of that clown Rich. You based your observations on what a spokesperson for the police said yet you have to know that the leadership of the BPD is woefully lacking and can’t be trusted to eat and walk at the same time. C’mon man next time you want to know what’s going on in your city ask me!

    1. I bet if you bring Rich the OIB Clown to the next “Temple of the way” fundraiser, ya’ll will raise way more money and have no people killed.

    2. Don : The most frequently asked question on OIB is; “How can Don be so wrong, so often about so many things?” I’ll take a stab at answering that question: It’s because of your conditioned fear of multidimensional cogitation and where it might lead. You must have tried it once, in regard to a topic that is important to you, wound up in a Twilight Zone of cognitive dissonance, and have subconsciously self-directed to “safer” modes and levels of cerebral activity since that unpleasant experience… You can unlearn this intellectual liability, with a little help, and be on your way to productive dialogue with the world — as you might have been in the somewhat-distant past… I think that among others you trust, Ron could help you get back on track in this regard…

What do you think about this Joel? Can Don’s thinking ever see the sunshine again?

      1. Jeff you probably think that I am only joking when I say certain things to Don. Although you make a lot of sense in what you just wrote, the plain truth about the cause of Don’s cognitive function or lack there of, is the knotty head. In case you may not know what that is, ask Don, or refer to some of my previous comments where I describe it. LoL. Right Don?!!
        Cheers!!!!

          1. Lol! Ouch!!!! I hit the nail on the heat didn’t I Don!!!! Now you can quietly go back, take a swig, and crawl back under that rock. I sincerely mean it when I say : take care of yourself you old fool.
            Cheers!!!

        1. *** Knotty Head was a term used when you wanted Gin! I forget weather it was Boars Head or not but the term @ that time came from the little knott’s on the gin bottle? ***

  5. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. 🙂

    Rich, a slight problem?
To be fair, it actually is a slight problem from the standpoint of this officer, and the department. On the bright side, at least the officer didn’t misplace/lose her gun. How slight though! I guess it will depend on how this plays out. However, from the city’s standpoint, it’s optically sad.

    Comrade Don.
Call it what you want, it was 2 am in the morning, in a basement of a Church (I believe) that sold alcohol or supplied it as a means to generate revenue for the Temple/Church, where two people were killed. BTY I don’t think this was a single “benefit event” but is a weekly thing.

  6. Jeff, how’s this for cognitive dissonance, your post is buffoonish. Speaking of cognitive dissonance, “What do you think about this Joel? Can Don’s thinking ever see the sunshine again?” 😆 🤣

    1. Making friends all the time right Don? Everyone is against you because you make no sense whatsoever. I’m thinking it could be because you’ve graduated to pints or maybe your mixing stuff. Either way, you need to seek help. There are several government funded programs that could possibly assist you. Ask your nurse to hook you up.
      Cheers!!!!!!

  7. *** Regardless of weather it was a hole in the wall, after hour or rented venue, it turned out to be a danger zone were an argument was answered with gun fire & death once again in Bpt. Is it surprising to anyone on OIB or in the city of Bpt in general; Not really! ***
