Police Seek Assistance To Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

From Bill Kaempffer, public safety spokesman:

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who held up a People’s United Bank branch Saturday. The incident happened at 10:10 a.m. at 58 Boston Ave.

The suspect is described as an African American male with a medium brown complexion. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed approximately 240 to 250 pounds.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black stocking hat, a black three-quarter-length coat and blue jeans,
