*** Instead of trying to change history by changing the original holiday’s name to recognize native Americans (who by the way feel Columbus was nothing more than a slave trader and stealer of discovered land riches) is like changing Merry Xmas to Happy Holidays or no prayers said in school and even the pledge of allegiance to start the school day! Why not just make a native Americans recognition day a school holiday instead?
