In East End, Governor Lamont Rallies Supporters On Eve Of Primary

Backed by roughly 200 local supporters at Foolproof Brewing in the East End, Governor Ned Lamont on Monday was joined by U.S. Senator Dick Blumenthal and Mayor Joe Ganim on the eve of Tuesday’s Democratic primary vote.

Lamont faces a challenge from Hamden State Rep. Josh Elliott. The winner moves on to the general election against Republican Ryan Fazio.

Bridgeport State Rep. Chris Rosario whipped up the crowd to deliver a city vote for Lamont against the back drop of the Trump administration heading into November’s midterm election.
