Gun Control Works In Japan

January 24th, 2013 · 1 Comment · News and Events

Now you are grasping at straws. Read this, if you dare.

The question is–will these laws make us safer? When you look at societies with cultural norms like ours who have laws like Japan’s, the answer is NO.

Japanese cultural norms are very different than ours. You cannot compare the two countries. Japan is basically a police state. All crime is significantly lower in Japan even though video games are MORE violent in Japan. The gun violence rate is even lower for Japanese Americans than all other ethnic groups. Japanese Americans also have a rate lower than the norm for drug addiction, imprisonment and poverty.
