Gun Control Forum In Black Rock

State Representative Auden Grogins will host a forum tonight (Thursday) at 7 at the Black Rock Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue, to discuss gun control legislation and school safety. Grogins will be joined by Bridgeport Chief of Police Joseph Gaudett,  state Undersecretary for Criminal Justice Policy and Planning Mike Lawlor, City Councilwoman Susan Brannelly, Bridgeport School Resource Officer Paul Grech, Executive Director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence Ron Pinciaro and State Representative Gerald Fox III of Stamford.

  1. Forum? … That would suggest something objective was happening. Let’s call it what it is; a rally for gun control. With the exception of the Chief everyone mentioned is simply a politician with an agenda selling their emotion-based idea.
    By all means forums should be had but at least make an effort to invite someone on the panel with a conflicting opinion so it won’t be such obvious propaganda.

  2. The NRA can count on more than 4,000,000 members to barrage with angry phone calls and letters any members of Congress and state legislatures who would dare to pose gun control legislation. Unfortunately for them 80,000,000 mothers can scream a hell of a lot louder.
