CT Post Editorial Board: Fire The Cops–”Three Thugs In Bridgeport Police Uniforms”

The Editorial Board of the Connecticut Post is calling for the termination of the three police officers seen kicking a motionless, tasered suspect in Beardsley Park.

Fire them.

And let a prosecutor decide if they should be charged.

If there’s a more compelling example of “conduct unbecoming,” of conduct that smears the badges and uniforms of hard-working police officers, of conduct that rightly makes citizens in Bridgeport distrustful of their police department, it was the daylight assault–a kicking and stomping frenzy–thrown by three thugs in Bridgeport police uniforms.

Out of control in a way that only 4-year-olds–or thugs–can be, the three men kicked and stomped a man they’d already incapacitated with an electric shock. They did it in broad daylight in the middle of Beardsley Park while at least one bystander recorded their unbridled brutality.
