Connecticut Against Gun Violence is organizing a gun control rally Feb. 14 in Hartford. See its latest appeal below:
Connecticut Against Gun Violence has proposed a comprehensive, common sense package of gun violence prevention legislation. Yet, there are many in our state telling the legislators not to change even a single law in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown. Not a single law! If we are going to pass legislation that will ban guns that are designed to kill a lot of people in minutes and pass other common sense anti-gun legislation, we need you to act now. Click here to see CAGV’s comprehensive and commonsense gun violence prevention legislation.
Please tell your legislators it is unacceptable for them not to pass such commonsense proposals. Support the bans on Assault Weapons and Large Capacity Magazines.
CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS NOW and tell them to support legislation that will limit the firepower, lethality, and accessibility of weapons in civilian hands.
We need to keep our families and our children safe. There can be no more “Newtowns” and no more families grieving over the loss of loved ones from gun violence.
