Charles Grodin Featured At Bridgeport Public Education Fund

You saw him as the accountant who was chased by the FBI, mobsters and a bounty hunter played by Robert DeNiro in Midnight Run, now Charles Grodin will make an early morning run September 18 at a breakfast forum hosted by the Bridgeport Public Education Fund, a support group of city schools founded in 1983 www.bpef.org. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn downtown, 1070 Main Street and honor education fund founding members.

Grodin, actor, advocate and broadcaster has hosted shows on CNBC, MSNBC and CBS Radio Network. Midnight Run is a must-see action comedy.

The education fund honorees: David Ellis Adams Carson, retired chief executive of People’s Bank; Geraldine Johnson, former superintendent of schools; Phyllis Marsilius, the retired director of school volunteers for the public schools; and Elizabeth Pfriem, former publisher of the Bridgeport Post and Telegram, the predecessors of the Connecticut Post.
