Caruso Sets Delegation Hearing

BRIDGEPORT LEGISLATORS SCHEDULE PUBLIC HEARING FOR BRIDGEPORT’S RESIDENTS

Members of Bridgeport’s legislative delegation have scheduled a local public hearing for Bridgeport’s residents to speak out on any issue they consider important for the city or the state.

The public hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 10, 2011, in the Council Chambers at Bridgeport City Hall, 45 Lyon Terrace, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Each person planning to speak is asked to sign in and speak for three minutes. There will be a sign-up sheet available in the Council Chambers at 5 p.m. the night of the hearing.

Bridgeport’s legislators are in the process of preparing their legislative agenda for the 2011 General Assembly session and are urging city residents to participate in the process.

Members of Bridgeport’s legislative delegation are State Representatives Christopher Caruso (D-Bridgeport), Andres Ayala (D-Bridgeport), Don Clemons (D-Bridgeport), Auden Grogins (D-Bridgeport) Jack Hennessy (D-Bridgeport), Ezequiel Santiago (D-Bridgeport) and State Senators Edwin Gomes (D-Bridgeport) and Anthony Musto (Bridgeport/Monroe/Trumbull).
