Statement from Mayor Bill Finch re: homicide arrests made (East Main St., 2009 homicide)
“Today, the Bridgeport Police Department scored three big victories–arresting the shooter responsible for the East Main street homicide on Monday, and closing the books on the 2009 homicide of Kevin Soler, along with the arrest of the suspect in a kidnapping/assault.
“I want to thank the members of the Bridgeport police department who have been working around the clock to track down the suspects in the most recent spate of homicides. I know they are working countless hours to track down the suspects in the deaths of Mi Lin Zhao and Keijahnae Robinson, and I have great faith that they will do their best to find them and bring them to justice.
“Both the Chief and I are very appreciative of the community’s cooperation and sharing of information, and we want to encourage anyone who has information regarding any of these incidents to call the Detective Division at 203.581.5201.”
