A Little Princess, Music by Andrew Lippa, Book and Lyrics By Brian Crawley, is inspired by the beloved childhood classic by Francis Hodgson Burnett, with an updated script and an “UNBELIEVABLY GORGEOUS, SOARING SCORE” by Tony-nominated Composer and Lyricist Andrew Lippa (The Addams Family, Wild Party). This story centers around young Sara Crewe, who is enrolled in a prestigious boarding school while her wealthy father goes off on a secret mission for the Queen of England. When Sara receives news of her father’s death, the school’s ruthless headmistress makes the newly penniless girl a servant and forces her to live in a cold attic. Sara, who refuses to accept that her father has died, proves that being a real princess takes heart, hope, and a little magic.

This Production will be Directed for the Bijou by Tobi Beth Silver and Musically Directed by Tom Cuffari.

  1. *** Is this the off-Broadway play where the little Princess gets pimped out by the school’s headmistress after her dad passes on? She works London’s east side red light district to make enough money to run away and find her Dad who she thinks is still alive somewhere! Lady Gaga would be great playing this role on Broadway no doubt should it become a hit. And Madonna could play the headmistress who back in her younger days worked the London red light districts before meeting the school’s headmaster who loved and helped her become who she is today. ***
