M&T Bank is accepting applications through August 23 for its 2026 Small Business Accelerator Program, an eight-week program held in partnership with the University of Bridgeport’s School of Business.
The program will run Wednesday evenings from September 9 through October 28 and cover business planning, credit fundamentals, marketing and branding, access to capital, and other resources to help small businesses grow. It will conclude with a pitch competition offering cash prizes of $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000.
The program is open to businesses located in Bridgeport and surrounding communities that have been operating for two to five years and generate between $50,000 and $500,000 in annual revenue. Applications are available at https://www.mtb.com/bridgeportprogram.
