Governor Ned Lamont and state development commissioner Daniel O’Keefe will join Mayor Joe Ganim, other city officials, executives from True North Hotel Group, RCI Group, Marriott, and KBE Construction.

Location, location, location is key here, close access to I-95, Route 8 Connector, rail and ferry service.

The hotel site is also adjacent to The August housing development under construction, more than 400 apartments, 20 percent set aside as work force housing including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, coming together for a projected move-in late spring 2026 at Steelpointe Harbor.

Meanwhile, Bridgeport’s own Chef Roshara Sanders, The Culinary Institute of America’s first Black female professor in the culinary department, is partnering with Black Rockers Niels and Callie Heilmann to create a boutique hospitality destination for Downtown projected to open in 2027.

The Heilmann’s are converting the historic Post Building Downtown into a 36-room boutique attraction, Post Hotel, across five floors including sneaker and record store, and rooftop bar, creating “a space in Bridgeport where culture, art, community, and tourism can thrive.”

Renderings of Post Hotel are spectacular. See more here

    1. True that, those New Pictures are much more appealing than the roof top with table video. I would like to know the total amount the Government is going to contribute vie grants and tax incentives for private for-profit ventures being Government money spent corporate/capitalistic ventures is not money spent on the Black, Brown, and White unfortunates, and or Schools, no?

Not saying seeming is wrong with it, JS

But to be fair I am not saying, if you know what I mean.
