The  City Council’s Budget & Appropriations Committee chaired by Scott Burns and Ernie Newton has begun its deliberations over Mayor Joe Ganim’s spending plan for the fiscal year starting July 1.

Ganim’s election-year budget holds the line on taxes. The majority of the council’s budget work is done at the committee level. See below the meeting schedule along with information to listen. Three public hearings are planned.
