‘If It Was A Muslim Or Mexican Doing The Shooting How Many New Laws To Stop The Madness? But Since It’s Almost Always A White Kid Nothing We Can Do’

Dallas sportscaster Dale Hansen shares his take on the Florida mass shooting. See video above. “Another high school shooting yesterday. This was in Florida. 17 dead the last report I saw and everybody sends their thoughts and prayers again because that works so well. This is the 18th high school shooting in America this year and we have ten and a half months to go.”

We’ve had 290 since 2013. We average about one a week but there’s just nothing we can do. If it was a Muslim or a Mexican doing the shooting how many new laws and how much money would we spend then to stop the madness? But since it’s almost always a white kid there’s just nothing we can do.

America has 5% of the world’s population and yet 31 percent of the world’s mass shootings. We’re worried about people coming to this country. They should be worried about us going to theirs.

Australia had four mass shootings between 87 and 96. They passed stricter gun laws and haven’t had a single mass shooting since …

  1. The GOP-controlled Congress down in lovely Washington DC refuses to pass meaningful firearms regulations because they have been bribed and blackmailed into complicity by the National Rifle Association. Donald Trump signed a bill that allows individuals with severe mental health issues to purchase firearms. Presumably Mr. Trump believes a school shooting every week makes America great.

    1. Maybe it was an executive order. I got the semantics wrong, Tom. Big fucking deal. It diesn’t matter. Donald Trump made it easy for the mentally ill to leglly possess firearms. I’ m guessing it was part of his master plan to make America great again.

      1. A year ago, Congress and Trump eliminated a proposed rule that would have included in the federal government gun background database people who received disability payments from Social Security and received assistance to manage their benefits due to mental impairments. Removing this Constitutional right based not on what they had done but on the basis of being classified by the government in a certain way. The fact that these people may have these impairments did not inherently mean that they were dangerous to themselves or others and needed to be kept away from guns.

This violated not just the Second Amendment but the Fourth, because it deprived the affected people of a right without due process. The government does have the power to restrict and even deny gun ownership to people, but it has to show that these people have engaged in behavior that makes weapons dangerous in their hands.

        1. Public safety trumps the Second Amendment. Why do the mentally ill need guns. Why does the NRA believe Americans should have access to assault weapons? Didn’t anyone learn from the conflagration of the Branch Davidian compound near Waco?

          1. Not true, proven by a court of law that you are a danger to the public’s safety that may restrict your 2nd Amendment. Who determines public safety and how? Are you unfit it you’re too poor? Are you unfit if you can’t add or subtract? Are you a danger to the public if you can’t read or write? Are you unfit if you’re unemployed? Are you unfit if you have only one leg? Can being color blind prohibit you from carrying a gun? Are you unfit if you’re old? Are you unqualified if you’re in debt? Are you not entitled if you rent a house and not own a house? Are you don’t pay your taxes? Can you be a danger to the public if you drive too fast? How about if you are expelled from school would that disqualify you to exercise your 2nd amendment?

          2. If a weapon isn’t used to hurt someone is it still an assault weapon? Tell us when a weapon is defined as a weapon and when a gun is defined as an assault weapon?

          3. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

Why was Nikolas Cruz allowed to own a deadly weapon? The Sheriff’s Office was summoned to his home at least twenty times. That didn’t come up during the background check. He has documented mental health issues. That didn’t come up. Why? Because he wasn’t convicted of a crime. Now seventeen innocent people are dead.

I’m not going to entertain your questions. Enough is enough, you dig? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. No more. Congress will not allow for practical gun legislation because the GOP has been bribed by the National Rifle Association. Our right to live peaceably trumps your precious right to own an assault rifle. Fuck the fuck off.

  2. The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting occurred on December 14, 2012, in Newtown, Connecticut, United States, when 20-year-old Adam Lanza fatally shot 20 children between six and seven years old, as well as six adult staff members. Think about this, there were 20 babies because that’s what they were babies, because they were between six and seven years old, 20 white babies were shot to death with a The Bushmaster XM-15 series is a line of AR-15-pattern semi-automatic rifles, AR, meaning Assault Rifle. I could not believe that America would not demand that some type of gun control be made law because of the death of these 20 babies.

Here’s How The Nation Responded When A Black Militia Group Occupied A Government Building

Nearly 50 years ago, a group of armed Black Panthers entered the California state Capitol to protest a gun control bill.

The Mulford Act was a 1967 California bill that repealed a law allowing public carrying of loaded firearms. Named after Republican assemblyman Don Mulford, the bill was crafted in response to members of the Black Panther Party who were conducting armed patrols of Oakland neighborhoods while they were conducting what would later be termed copwatching.

They garnered national attention after the Black Panthers marched bearing arms upon the California State Capitol to protest the bill.

    1. So he got the abbreviation wrong, Tom. Are you going to pick knits or are you going to man up and address the problem the GOP has? Every time, every motherfucking time there is a mass shooting Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and the rest of the Republican Party offers “thoughts and Prayers.” They are incapable of passing meaningful common sense gun control legislation because the Nationl Rifle Association has them by the short and curlies, bought off with large campaign contributions or blackmailed by the threat kf being voted out of office.

      1. The AR-15 is a common assualt rifle. Very similar in looks to an M-16, but not exactly.

AR does NOT stand for Assault Rifle, as is commonly believed. AR stands for the original company that manufactured it, ArmaLite. ArmaLite sold their rights to the AR-10 and AR-15 designs in 1959 to Colt.

The Colt AR-15 is a lightweight, 5.56×45mm, magazine-fed, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle. It was designed to be manufactured with the extensive use of aluminum alloys and synthetic materials. It is a semi-automatic version of the United States military M16 rifle. Colt’s Manufacturing Company currently uses the AR-15 trademark for its line of semi-automatic AR-15 rifles that are marketed to civilian and law-enforcement customers.

  3. In United States v. Cruikshank (1876), the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that, “The right to bear arms is not granted by the Constitution; neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence” and limited the applicability of the Second Amendment to the federal government.[9] In United States v. Miller (1939), the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government and the states could limit any weapon types not having a “reasonable relationship to the preservation or efficiency of a well regulated militia.
