City Zoo Tiger Births Cubs–Weeks From Public Viewing

News release from Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo: Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo’s ten-year-old Amur tiger (Panthera tigris altaica), Changbai, gave birth on November 25 to four tiger cubs, although only two survived. Councilwoman Vizzo-Paniccia Receives Advocacy Group Leadership Post

At the annual City Summit conference in Charlotte, N.C. earlier this month, the Women in Municipal Government (WIMG), a constituency group of the National League of Cities, elected Bridgeport City Councilor AmyMarie Vizzo-Paniccia first vice president.
