I don’t like smoking pot, (yeah, yeah, tried it a few times, yes, I inhaled) never mushrooms unless I’m flaming them with grilled quail and cherries. But $165K in cash? Oosh. What I could do with that! Cash, gun, no cannoli? I’m thinking an OIB party at this place for our 20th anniversary next year.

During the month of March, The Bridgeport Police Task Force conducted an investigation into G’s Smoke Shop located at the intersection of Middle St and John St. Search warrants were obtained concerning illegal firearms and unauthorized marijuana sales.
On 3/28/25, Task Force Officers executed search warrants on the smoke shop and an apartment located above the store. Pursuant to the search warrant Officers seized a loaded 9mm handgun, approximately 86.65 lbs of marijuana products, approximately 10 lbs of Hallucinogenic mushroom products, and over $165,000 dollars in US currency.
The subject of the investigation Gabriel Rodriguez (42) of Bridgeport, who is a convicted felon, was charged with multiple firearm and narcotic violations including Criminal Possession of a firearm and Possession of Hallucinogenic / Possession of over 1kg of marijuana with intent to sell.
Get his ass back in jail and get that so called SMOKE SHOP CLOSED DOWN
I heard Lennie Greenmaldi ratted out Gabriel Rodriguez so he can take over the smoke shop. I’m sure Greenmaldi knows who to bribe for protection. The day you even think of selling in Weedy Gonzalez’s turf, is the day you eat your last Mushroom. Happy Birthday Lennie!
