    It seems, perhaps it is reactionary based on a child. We haven’t publically heard anything about teh needles being left behind, prior. I would have to say police patrol to keep people from “loitering/ shooting up their. But a sweep of the grounds of litter/needles daily is a given, I would say. JS

    Hope the kid is ok without any, well, you know what’s on the minds.

  4. Is it me or does anyone notice the fact that the mayor gets a photo up out of this, at the expense of a serious issue. But never is there mention of a mayoral administrative response to the issue? No mention of new resources allocated? Increasing a police presence? The only mention is from the church staff members saying that they are reaching out to the bridgeport health department. This would have been an opportunity for them to get a promise or some sort of action plan from the mayor. just another selfish selfie.

    1. I always say, “People see what they want to see” Photo op? Perhaps but I am sure it is not an issue. Do you honestly believe, see G2 wants to stand in front of a camera addressing Drug use, Needles sting a child?
