OIB has asked the Finch and Foster campaign camps to share mail pieces each side will kick out in the days leading to the September 27th primary. No word from the Finch camp. Here’s a cheeky two-sided mail piece by the Foster campaign swiping Finch for his $600 tax cut promise as a mayoral candidate in 2007:

You can’t take that to the bank!
Maybe if Warren Blunt, Anderson Ayala and Marty McCarthy paid their property taxes on time Finch would’ve been able to pay the $600 rebate …
Does the tax assessor have to pay their property taxes? With that salary?!!!
The two biggest lies Bill Finch ever told:
“I won’t come in your mail …”
“The check is in my mouth …”
We don’t need your reckless commentary in the last few days of the campaign. It makes the whole effort look amateurish. Temper yourself.
Maybe Foster should offer a $1000 refund and say oops! Caruso knew there was no money when he ran against Finch but the people liked the idea of a 600 dollar refund that never came. They voted for Finch and he won by such a small margin people really never saw him as the legit Mayor.
