Statement from her website:

I have been at your doors listening to the issues that matter to you, participating in local organizations to improve our community, and promoting grassroots engagement for many years. I’m not a career politician. I don’t change my address to run for office. Let’s choose public service over career politics.

I have committed my career to public service and equality. I can speak to the many women’s rights and civil rights issues that will be on the table this year. My background includes being an educator, litigator, member of Trumbull’s Ethics Commission, and a Commissioner for the CT Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities. I serve on local boards and organizations in Trumbull, Bridgeport, and Monroe, and have been delighted to coach Trumbull High School’s We the People team.

As your neighbor, it will be an honor to work with you.
