Governor Jodi Rell visited the University of Bridgeport today to open the CTech IncUBator, a collaboration of Connecticut Innovations, the state’s quasi-public authority for technology development, and the University of Bridgeport. This is Fairfield County’s only university-based incubator for high-tech start-ups, according to UB officials.
In addition to Rell, dedication speakers included Neil Salonen, president, University of Bridgeport, M. Marc Abreu, founder, co-director and chief science officer of Brain Tunnelgenix Technologies Corp. (the first tenant of the CTech IncUBator@ University of Bridgeport ) and Joan McDonald, commissioner, Department of Economic and Community Development, State of Connecticut and chairperson, Connecticut Innovations.
