Puerto Rican Day Parade Announces 2026 Celebration Weekend

Today, Puerto Rican Day Parade of Fairfield County announced the schedule for 2026 events in Bridgeport, CT. This year, festivities begin with its Gala at Tashua Knolls Banquet Hall in Trumbull, CT on Friday, July 10 at 7:00 p.m.

The vibrant and colorful Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is set to take place on Sunday, July 12, 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m. The festival will kick off sharply at 1:00 p.m. at the Seaside Beach bandshell in Bridgeport, CT, promising a day filled with cultural celebrations, music, and delicious food.

Prior to the festival, a special flag raising ceremony will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at City Hall, located at 45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT. This ceremony will serve as a symbolic start to the festivities, honoring the rich heritage and traditions of the Puerto Rican community.

The Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is a beloved annual event that brings together people of all backgrounds to celebrate Puerto Rican culture and heritage. Attendees can look forward to lively music, traditional dances, authentic cuisine, and a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable celebration of Puerto Rican culture, music, and community. We are proud to present an extraordinary lineup of talent, featuring DJ/MC Frankie “Cutlass” Malave, the dynamic and powerful performance of Jeremy Bosch accompanied by his full orchestra, the vibrant, high-energy fusion of Luisito Gomez, and the soulful, rhythmic sounds of Frankie Rodriguez and his Homenaje a la Salsa Orchestra.

Audiences will also be inspired by the vibrant performances of Ministerio De Danza y Folklore, showcasing the beauty of our traditions through movement. And that’s just the beginning—even more surprises await throughout the day!
