An upscale synergy is emerging Downtown, the latest venture Larry Wiggins’ First Class Barbers & Hair Salon offering free parking, door-to-door transportation service, manicures and pedicures at the Fairfield Avenue unisex destination.
Adjacent is Paul Brown’s chic In The City bar and lounge. Brown also owns Jamaican restaurant Grill II, across the Margaret Morton Government Center on Broad Street.
Around the corner Bridgeport-based Primrose Construction is building 99 units of luxurious housing bringing with it discretionary spending for occupants to support businesses and restaurants. The apartments are poised for occupancy in the fall.
