Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye was originally supposed to be a throw away B-side recording.
However, it became a huge hit and has endured as a part of our popular culture. By the beginning of the 21st century, sales of “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye” (a song that had its start in Bridgeport) had exceeded 6.5 million records.
