POKO Partners LLC’s Latest Development Will Bring 33 Units of New Multifamily Construction to the West Side
WHAT: POKO Partners, LLC in partnership with the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut Housing and Finance Authority, Department of Economic Community Development. Alliant Capital, LTD, and Alpha Community Services/YMCA celebrate the groundbreaking of its latest affordable housing development. The $13 million development will bring 33 units of new housing to the West Side of Bridgeport. This investment will help the West Side neighborhood to thrive by providing much needed high quality affordable housing to hard working families.
Designed by Crosskey Architects, this single building, 4.5 story development will have six townhouse style units that form a street frontage and a welcoming appearance to the development. An elevator will serve upper floors, and has 27 handicap accessible units. There is ample parking available for tenants. This project has high energy efficiency standards, equivalent of LEED certified projects and incorporates several sustainability measures. The landscape plan will enhance the residential character of the street by creating a consistent streetscape. Clinton Commons promises to be a cornerstone development for the ongoing revitalization efforts in Bridgeport.

Just in time for election season. Not to say we don’t need some affordable housing but I’d take a factory or business over more housing units. Just saying, Mr. Finch.
Housing is a negative tax situation. You’ll need more police, more firemen and more public works to service this new development.
