Just days from Tuesday’s Democratic primary in Connecticut’s 23rd Senatorial, freshman incumbent Herron Gaston and City Councilman Ernie Newton are making their final pitches to voters in Bridgeport and Stratford.
Newton is trying to reclaim the seat he vacated 20 years ago following his conviction on public corruption charges, asserting his experience to get the job done is the way to go. Gaston argues don’t look back, the future is bright.

I want to give a shout-out to France for monking JC and Christianity in its opening Olympic ceremony, the Gold medal winner Imane Khelif, and China’s Yang Li for throwing the match. I am sure CT Rs who put Bob, AKA Walter to run against D Lamont can appreciate that, right tax commissioner Mark? 🤣
I don’t know the extent of the national “debate” that has taken place about transgenders other than teh (microburst) reporting of a failed gender test and having a Y chromosome that indicates/makes up males.
But in religion and areas of the world where the extremes are less FORGIVING on things such as LGBT issues, to say the least. Perhaps the conversation was beneficial to the LGBT causes.
