Well, better late than never.
About three months after clinching reelection following a long, strange extended mayoral season odyssey, Mayor Joe Ganim will receive the oath of office May 15, 5:30 p.m. in his office.
This will be an understated swearing in without the traditional pomp and circumstance afforded the other municipal candidates in City Council Chambers back in December. Ganim did not receive the oath in the court-delayed mayoral race.
The mayor’s father, George, will once again issue the oath as he has done seven times since 1991.
In totality Ganim has served approximately 20 years as chief executive over split tenure surpassed only by Socialist Jasper McLevy 1933-57.
It took Jasper 20 years to get elected!

The most disingenuous group out of all of y’all. 🤣
So much for racial equality, with only a Latina, cameo. 🙃
