Ex School Board Chair Bobbi Brown Named President Of Greater Bridgeport NAACP

Ex Board of Education Chair Bobbi Brown has been named president of the Greater Bridgeport NAACP, according to a post on the Bridgeport Strong Facebook page:

Bridgeport Strong congratulates Bobbi Brown on this new role as president of the NAACP Bridgeport chapter!
Following the loss of our beloved President “Dr. Reverend Lord,” and soon following after, Dr. Lesley’s taking on that great void but later on making the the tough decision to step down for personal reasons, it’s reassuring to see Bobbi Brown step up to lead. Her leadership will be instrumental in addressing the challenges Bridgeport faces.
We wish Bobbi Brown strength, love, and success in this position. It won’t be easy, but know that the city stands with you!

  1. Was a Clarification needed? Congratulations would have been sufficient. Your clarification comes off as a slight for Carolyn Nah being on the losing side when Bobbi Brown defeated her.

It comes off as a cheap shot on Carolyn Nah by calling her out for her loss. Perhaps you are harboring negativity towards Carloyn, or you don’t view her on your coded side if the theory exists. JS

    Play nice people.

Rob, do you identify as a white liberal? This person of color has some thoughts on it. 🙃
