From Kaitlyn Krasselt, CT Post:
Gov. Ned Lamont said Monday he isn’t giving up his fight to implement tolls on Connecticut’s highways despite uncertainty from legislative leadership.
“We’re having day-to-day conversations,” Lamont said Monday following a ceremonial bill signing to accelerate the installation of 5G connectivity throughout the state.
“I’ve had more people come into my office and tell me it’s the right thing to do, and I know it’s much better than piling more debt on the backs of the taxpayers … But it’s a vote that a lot of legislators just assumed they didn’t have to take so I’m still battling on that one.”
