Downtown Bridgeport’s restaurants are hosting the first annual Halloween-themed pub crawl on October 24, 2014 from 6 PM to 10 PM. While costumes are optional, participants that go above and beyond with their costume choices will be in the running for a variety of prizes. Participants in this year’s crawl are asked to check in at the Holiday Inn, located at 1070 Main Street. There is a parking garage behind the Holiday Inn for cars and the Metro North train line is one block away. At check in, participants will receive their map and passport for the event. Fill in the entire passport by visiting each venue and enter to win prizes. The grand prize is season tickets to the Bijou Theater.
Discounted drink specials, especially Bud Light, will be held throughout the evening. Highlights of this event include a VIP room at the B:HIVE featuring craft cocktails and seasonal drink sampling at the Bijou Wine Shop. Cheap eats will be available at A’vuchella featuring $5 paninis and Star Istanbul with Turkish delicacies. The final destination at Tiago’s, also referred to as the “After Life” Party, will keep you dancing the night away. Prizes for male, female, and team costumes will be awarded as well as the grand prize.
The last check-in time is at 8 PM. The following venues are participating: Martini Bar, Bijou Theater, A’vuchella, B:HIVE, Bijou Wine, Barnum Publick, and Tiago’s Bar & Grill.
