New Lighting Display readied for Annual Downtown Tree Lighting Set on Dec. 2
Join Mayor Bill Finch and his family along with Santa Claus as they flip the switch to illuminate McLevy Green with nearly 10,000 lights for the annual Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 2nd.
WICC Morning Show hosts Tony Reno and Mike Bellamy will emcee this year’s event, which will feature holiday favorites performed by The Park City Pride Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps, Central High School Choir, the Lighthouse Gospel Choir and the cast of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.”
This year’s event will also include a menorah lighting to recognize the second night of Hanukkah.
The event is sponsored by the City of Bridgeport and the Downtown Special Services District.
