Tuesday, May 10th at 12:30 PM, The Black Rock Branch Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue presents: The Danger of Stopping Vitamin D Supplements in the Summer! by Dr. Jared M. Skowron. Dr. Jared M. Skowron, faculty at University of Bridgeport and expert in Vitamin D, will discuss the dangers of not taking your Vitamin D supplements … even in the summer. Wednesday, May 11th at 1:00 PM, The Black Rock Branch Library, 2705 Fairfield Avenue presents: Breast and Cervical Cancer Education Program. Marilyn Moore, Founder and CEO of The Witness Project of CT, will discuss the importance of early detection and the Witness Project’s newest initiative the Girlfriend’s Brigade.
