Bridgeport’s nocturnal videographer Steve Krauchick of Doing It Local is all too familiar with city fires, some tragic, many explosive and almost always destructive such as this early-morning blaze engulfing a garage in The Hollow.
Krauchick was on the scene just after 1 a.m. when firefighters responded to a garage fire at 114 Jones Avenue. All occupants of the home in front were evacuated safely, according to Krauchick’s report, and firefighters doused the fire quickly, as captured in his video that provides insight into the work of city firefighters.
