Check out the Vines & Vignettes garden experience this weekend, Saturday at 10 a.m. to Sunday at 5 p.m., on the grounds of the historic Rose Cottage, 62 Old Battery Road in Black Rock.
The Rose Cottage, once a part of the spectacular George Hotel on the waterfront of St. Mary’s-By-The-Sea, is situated on almost three acres of park-like grounds.
Landscape architects, nurseries and garden antiques dealers will use the special features of this property to create over a dozen vignettes in spaces such as the Octagonal Garden, the Allee and the Pond.
Spend the day perusing the grounds getting great ideas, purchasing that special garden ornament or listening to a variety of garden experts while enjoying lunch or refreshments. It all adds up to an enchanting garden experience.
