Former Board of Education leader Jessica Martinez, who served as Dennis Bradley’s treasurer during his run for public office that led to a federal election law conviction and recent suspension of his law license, doesn’t hold back in a Facebook video about his charlatan excuse for breaking the law. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1cmkCuaNte/
Court records show that Bradley, as her attorney, told her to lie to a federal grand grand jury about his scheme to manipulate Connecticut’s public finance system to secure nearly $100,000 to finance his campaign.
The feds charged her with providing false statements to the grand jury, manipulated by her own lawyer.
So much for “rookie mistakes” eh?
Martinez was spared prison time by the federal judge.
Dennis Bradley awaits his sentencing for his March conviction on six counts of election fraud.

Elections, absentee ballots, carelessness from people who seek to care for others, wastes of time and resources, fraud and criminality can cause Federal, State level or municipal infractions. That much we know. But if the behavior of the “imperfect few” what about the behavior and activity in the community to, for, and by the majority who are also imperfect in preparation for democratic participation.
Why are the City, the places of higher learning, and the religious communities lacking in CIVICS instruction which is the “study of citizen rights and responsibilities” specifically the role of ETHICS in human behavior and the knowledge of governance structure meant to channel authorized power to elected and appointed leadership?
I have been seeking such an answer for about two years now. The City Council knows what I am saying. They hear me at the three minute Public Speaking Sessions preceding City Council meetings regularly. Several of them have participated and heard great questions shared. But what happens? The Board of Education has no new funds to apply to Civics in the schools allegedly. Where do folks learn? Or do they merely avert their eyes from news of arrests for political activity and then do not vote (or get better informed) though registered? Is that a reason why 80-90% of registered voters do not cast a ballot in local elections? Time will tell.
Worthy, 🙂
“Elections, absentee ballots, carelessness from people who seek to care for others, wastes of time and resources, fraud and criminality can cause federal, state-level, or municipal infractions.”
Perhaps
“carelessness from people”, but for people who seek to care for others, please. Politics is sold on the idea of helping others in our democratic self-government, but the politician themselves is a self-serving/coded side of politics, for the most part.
Lennie is highlighting Jessica M to serve G2 Brother, but I recall a few choice articles about Jessica that didn’t come off to well for her, far more than her struggle to lie about a manufactured politcal white-collar crime.
I say manufacture because, while it was a crime is was so unnecessary. What took place was like an employee robbing his employer for his paycheck a day before the employer was to give it to him. 🙂
Meaning, there was no way Dennis was not going to garner enough support (legally) to qualify for that public money. He did because that’s how corrupt Port’s political game is. It like they are not doing anything wrong. 🙂
In the Port political game, our politicians, perhaps, will sell out their own mother to win, but they will definitely sell out their brother. 🤣
They may or may not be a Jesus thing, Matthew 10:34, But is deffently a Port political thing. 🙂

PS Lennie, don’t underestimate a Port political apology and its people’s forgiveness. That, without a doubt, is a Jesuit thing, JS
