From Dan Tepfer, CT Post:
Police are investigating three shootings that occurred Monday, one that left a local man in critical condition.
Shortly after 8 p.m., police said Lamaine Heard, 25, was shot in the left hand, leg and foot in the Greene Homes housing project. He was driven to Bridgeport Hospital where he was in stable condition.
A short time later, William Sullivan, 25, was shot in the thighs on Roosevelt Street in the city’s East Side. Police Spokesman William Kaempffer said there had been a knock at the door at Sullivan’s home and when the victim’s brother opened the door another man was there to rob him.

CT Post is reporting Mayor Finch is going to hire Jim Himes’ former campaign manager for his campaign.
Good luck! You have a tough road to travel.
Jim Himes needs to wake up and smell the coffee because the voters are tired of his act.
I agree, Ron. It’s time to send Himes home to Greenwich.
Last year, there were approximately 90 shootings and about 10 people died. So far this year there has been over 35 shootings. Getting better every day? The number of deaths has been kept low due to the fine work of doctors and the understaffed and overworked Bridgeport Police Officers.
Another shooting last night. I am afraid to walk my dog.
Bridgeport, getting better every day.
Welcome to Bridgeport, Connecticut. Duck the fuck down, motherfucker …
