From Congressman Jim Himes:
Himes Co-Sponsors Resolution Commending Obama, Military, and Intelligence Personnel on Bin Laden Mission
WASHINGTON, DC— Congressman Jim Himes (CT-4) today co-sponsored a resolution commending President Barack Obama and the men and women of the military and intelligence agencies for the successful completion of the operation that led to the death of Osama bin Laden.
“This unifying triumph over terrorism is a testament to the leadership and perseverance of President Obama, the dedication of the United States military and intelligence agencies, and the bravery of the Navy Seal team and Special Forces community that carried out this successful mission,” said Himes. “The President, the intelligence community, and the Armed Forces are well deserving of our nation’s sincere gratitude and congratulations.”
For nearly ten years, following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, American leaders, Armed Forces and citizens have been dedicated to defending freedom at home and abroad. They have sought justice for the atrocities committed against America that day. On May 1, 2011, justice was finally served when Osama bin Laden’s death occurred through the courage of U.S. military forces in conjunction with the Joint Special Operations Command.

Obama didn’t get Osama … the NAVY SEALS did. It took 3 presidents and the need to run for re-election to do this. I understand Obama played 9 holes of golf before making this overdue decision.
He may be Commander-In-Chief in name, but he has no idea about the military mentality. Neither did Bush, who acted like a frat brother; nor Clinton, who didn’t give the order to shoot when Osama was within 600 yards of a sniper’s bullet in 1994 or 1995.
