What, a market Downtown! The grand opening of Ripka’s Bridgeport Market will take place Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the historic Arcade, 993 Main Street. Mayor Bill Finch will cut the ribbon to commemorate the opening. Complimentary snacks and samples, plus market tours. Ripka’s has store locations in Norwalk and Stamford.
One of the missing pieces to progress Downtown to complement the growing housing base was the lack of a grocery story. Ripka’s 7,500-square-foot market will include a bakery, butchery, produce, seafood and a cafe.

Pic looks appetizing. What is under the cheese? I wish them great success and will definitely check it out to show support.
The lemon wedge is what’s confusing me, but if I had to guess, it appears to be a delicious bacon cheeseburger. Not kosher, but not to worry–unless your rabbi is sitting at the next table.
Not kosher here. Sounds good to me.
