Keyed By 88, Beepo’s Ace Holleran Is A Paperback Writer

Drummers are a peculiar breed: Keith Moon, John Bonham. Maybe it’s the tightness of the skins. Tick, tick, bang, bang. That dichotomy could make anyone nuts.

Bridgeport’s Timothy “Ace” Holleran is quite comfortable banging drums. Back in the day, particularly the late  1970s, he was behind the kit for some of rock’s finest singers, including The Guess Who’s Burton Cummings.

He enjoys a curious way of looking at things. His inspiration for his new paperback, titled 88, was inspired not by drums, but by a college pianist tinkling 88 keys. To Ace’s way of thinking why not amass “Eighty-Eight 88-Word Stories” as noted in the title hook to the book.

Ace is the place for a face.

“A collection of 88 wee episodes, each 88 words in length. A guaranteed work of partial fiction.”

Ace notes that Beepo is well represented. Order his paperback here

Ace, just like Pope Leo, attended Villanova. Ace says he had nothing to do with the white smoke.

I want to personally thank Pope Leo for taking my name.

  1. Now, it starts to make sense. I always wonder how the England got part of the Ireland for the fighting Irish Catholics. Money! Apparently there are Irish Protestants. The England bribed the Irish of the North, particular with a richer lifestyle. 🙂

Can’t really call the UK the United Kingdom, if Ireland is and independent state and they, UK only control/United part of the the island/Ireland. No?
