State Senator Dennis Bradley loves life in real time. He throws it all out there. On Monday Bradley and wife Karina gave birth to daughter Lux Lee Bradley.
Bradley texted OIB with the good news. He reports wife and baby in sturdy health. He’ll have plenty of photos to share with voters at election-day polls in one week. Meanwhile, get ready for sleep deprivation.

Congratulations to the Bradley family on baby daughter LUX LEE BRADLEY. Listened to Dennis singing in the hospital hallway….perhaps he should consider keeping his day job….although he is enthusiastic. So perhaps he can target some enthusiasm to solving the problems for the youth of CT urban dwellers so that equality of educational opportunity may be forecast for all youth in the state as daughter grows up? Lux is Latin for ‘light’ and ‘veritas’ is Latin for ‘truth’. Light and truth might be a classy phrase to keep in mind for the daughter of a politician who has trained as a lawyer. Time will tell.

Did I wake you up suddenly? Sorry..
In your years of observing folks as they grow in age, have you noticed that some folks really mature rapidly when the have children? That thought sprang to mind with news of Dennis’ growing family. Lots of work to be done in CT on jobs, economic development, and dragging results in too many school offerings to inner city youth. in next decade and more. Why not get a younger State officeholder to see whether seeing his daughter grow, reminds him of all the other youngsters he represents, with different varieties of privilege? Time will tell.
