A city man faces motor vehicle charges after crashing his car into a nightclub late Friday. The vehicle crashed through the wall and came to rest near the bar. The vehicle was traveling on Central Avenue, crossed Boston Avenue and crashed into the building. The Fire Department and Building Department responded.
Three people suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Carlos Lebron, 40, of 153 Louisiana Ave. He was held on scene by patrons of the club until police arrived. Lebron was arrested and charged with Reckless Driving, Failure to Obey Traffic Control Signal, and Traveling Unreasonably Fast.
